This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Dan’s Oilfield Rentals collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the dansoilfieldrentals.ca website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Dan’s Oilfield Rentals.
What information we collect
The only information we collect through this Site is what you choose to give us, through the form on our Contact page or the chat assistant (see below). The contact form asks for your name and phone number and your consent to be contacted, plus anything else you choose to add (email address, company and details of what you need). We do not sell products through this Site, so we never collect payment or credit card information here.
Non-personal identification information
We may collect standard non-personal technical information whenever you visit our Site — browser type, device type, and general technical information about your connection to our Site, such as your operating system and internet service provider. This is used only to keep the Site running properly and secure.
How we use the information you provide
Information submitted through the contact form is used for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, provide you with a quote or arrange the rental or service you asked about. We do not use it for any other purpose.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions for 24 months, then delete them. If you would like yours deleted sooner, email info@dansoilfieldrentals.ca and we will remove it.
Chat assistant
Our Site has a chat assistant, provided through our customer-messaging platform, LeadConnector (HighLevel). Replies may come from an automated assistant; see section 4 of our Terms and Conditions. If you use it, what you type and any details you give (such as your name, phone number or email address) are sent to that platform, stored there and passed to our team so we can reply. The platform’s servers are in the United States, so your messages may be stored and processed there. We use chat messages only to answer your enquiry. If you would like a conversation deleted, email info@dansoilfieldrentals.ca.
How we protect your information
We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and reasonable security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of the information you submit to us.
Sharing your information
We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information with service providers who help us operate this Site (for example, our web hosting, form-processing and chat providers) solely to the extent necessary for them to perform that function on our behalf, and we do not permit them to use your information for any other purpose.
Cookies
This site uses cookies needed to make it run properly — for example, keeping the site secure and remembering basic technical settings while you browse. The chat assistant also uses cookies and similar browser storage: they keep your conversation open as you move between pages, let the chat recognise your browser on a later visit, and record how you arrived at the site (for example the referring website or campaign tags in the link) so an enquiry can be traced to its source. We do not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies.

Fonts and maps
Pages on this Site load their typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser requests them from Google’s servers. The Contact page also shows a map, and your browser requests the map tiles from OpenStreetMap. In both cases the provider receives your IP address and basic browser details, as with any request to a third-party server. Directions links open Google Maps in a new tab, where Google’s own privacy policy applies. The chat assistant loads its own scripts from LeadConnector’s servers and a typeface from Bunny Fonts, which likewise receive your IP address and basic browser details.
Changes to this privacy policy
Dan’s Oilfield Rentals may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to periodically review this page to stay informed of any changes.
